I Am Happiness is the digital extension of Ashu Khanna’s lifelong work in spirituality and conscious leadership. As a spiritual teacher, author, and podcast host, Ashu sought to translate her philosophies on happiness, purpose, and inner awakening into a structured digital masterclass that could guide users to discover their truth as Sat Chit Ananda.
The Challenge
The first version of the app was built to translate the core spiritual vision into a digital experience and helped establish the foundational framework of the product. After the beta testing phase, we realised that the App was content heavy and there was an opportunity to further enhance user engagement, introduce clearer daily guidance, and make progress more outcome-driven. The challenge was to simplify the experience and build on this existing foundation, and add a structured journey, peer-based experiences, and meaningful touchpoints that could guide users through their practice with greater clarity and consistency.
What we delivered?
We reimagined the product experience with a strong focus on guided progression and clarity of purpose, while retaining parts of the original foundation built by an earlier service provider. The app was redesigned to introduce stage-based journeys, peer groups with aligned start and end points, and a clear daily flow anchored around a dedicated “Today” screen. Simplified onboarding and in-app tutorials helped users understand both the philosophy and the mechanics of the platform from day one. While expanding features and APIs, our team reworked the backend architecture to ensure performance and load times remained seamless. The experience balanced structured tasks with open exploration, allowing users to follow a guided path while still engaging freely with the app content. Every design and technical decision was made to answer one critical question: “What should I do today, and why?”
Impact and Results
The redesigned experience delivered clarity at every stage of the user journey. Users clearly understood their daily actions, long-term progression, and intended outcomes. Peer-group journeys fostered shared momentum, while defined stages made spiritual growth feel approachable, measurable, and purposeful, without compromising the essence of the original philosophy.
